Zahra Khalil, more commonly known on social media as Zahra Lyla for her style and fashion expertise, took some stunning shots of our linen fashion a while back at a luxury resort, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar. Today we are delighted to share with you an interview we had with her about summer, dreamy holidays, Dubai and of course, fashion!

Zahra was born and raised here in Dubai but has also spent a considerable amount of time living in London. Originally a graphic designer by trade, Zahra moved to the UK to complete studies in fashion and media production. With her considerable skills, talent and style, Zahra has worked as an editor for Vogue magazine, and now runs one of the Middle East’s biggest fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogs called Just Lyla, which has been featured in print and web publications such as Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour and Elle Arabia to name but a few.
The first thing we asked Zahra when we got to catch up with her, is where is your favourite summer travel destination and why? She said:
My favorite summer destination will always be London as it is almost like my second home. I lived there for 3 years when I was studying for my Masters and it is also where I met my husband!
Because it's summer and we're honestly constantly dreaming about where to fly to next; we also asked where her dream holiday destination and why. Zahra said:
There are 2 different dream holidays I cannot wait to go on. One is an African Safari where I get to experience wild animals in their natural habitat and the other is a crazy trip to Tokyo.
And we cannot agree more! African safari and Tokyo are on our bucket lists too. Closer to home, however, the next question for Zahra was about her top beach spot in Dubai, and she told us:

Another of her faves in Dubai also is what she considers the best beach club or beachside restaurant worldwide.
Why travel far when we have the best beaches here in Dubai? I love hanging out at Jetty Lounge in Dubai around sunset!
And now to our favourite part of the interview. We got to ask Zahra where she wore her Facil Blanco outfit, what she styled it with and why! She said:
I wore my beautiful Facil Blanco outfit at the Anantara Jabal Al Akhthar Moutain resort in Oman. The simplicity of the dress shines on it own so I wore it bare feet by the pool!
